Are we going to make it?

Will we make that dining reservation?

It seems like a lot of trouble to get all the way into MK and to 7DMT, only to have to leave the park before 10:25am. After you get out of your 7DMT ride, it will still be a great time in the morning to enjoy the relatively shorter lines on various attractions.

I would probably just grab some breakfast before heading to the park, and not leave Magic Kingdom until lunchtime. Disclaimer: I hear people say that 'Ohana breakfast is amazing, but since I haven't eaten there, I really don't know what I'm missing.

I second all of this except the disclaimer. I love dinner at ‘Ohana, but I wouldn’t recommend breakfast there unless someone in your party absolutely MUST meet Lilo and Stitch or eat a Stitch waffle. Apart from those things, it’s an AYCTE version of a QS bounty platter. There are much, much better character breakfasts across WDW.

Plus haven't they recently changed it so now Stich greets everyone in a central spot before you sit down? You don't even get the fun of him walking around and the candid interaction photos.

Having waited a crazy long time recently for a resort launch, I’d consider taking the ferry to the TTC and walking to poly.
I’d also try and rope drop SDMT, but if your plans are set, I think you have a shot of making it if you hustle.

Sorry! I would say no! Just not enough time...you would be absolutely frazzled trying to get that done and wouldn't be able to enjoy 7DMT anyway!

Thank you very much everyone for your responses. It's so funny that in terms of 'votes' the poll is very clearly "No." while the comments are more evenly balanced.

In any case, as soon as I discovered this pinch point in the plan, I went back to the well with Len and TP's Reservation Finder. Within 24 hours, a little Disney Magic happened and a 11:15a 'Ohana popped up. (I can't recommend that tool enough; it alone is worth the price of admission to the site).

Now the plan is:
1) Rope Drop the Park
2) Tour expeditiously until the existing 7DMT FP+ at 9:50a.
3) Depart the park with adequate time to make the 11:15a 'Ohana
4) Resort for afternoon nap / swim
5) Back to the park ~4p for MVMCP

So I think we're good! Thanks again for your help!

I hadn’t heard that! Is that just for Stitch, or all of the ‘Ohana breakfast characters?

Yeah, it’s just Stich. The others still rotate. I know I’ve read this around here recently - I assume it’s still accurate (although not 100% sure).

I believe this is correct, sort of like how Pluto greets on entering Chef Mickey’s.

Your new plan sounds great! We stayed at Poly in Oct and highly recommend taking the resort boat to Poly for your 'Ohana reservation. We never waited longer than 5 minutes for a resort launch.

We were at 'Ohana 5 weeks ago. You check in to the hostess stand and then wait in a line to meet Stitch before being seated. Mickey, Pluto and Lilo still walk around to the tables.

I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but I don't understand the 'Ohana hype. Food was just ok and the character interactions were quick. And we have a 5 & 7 yo who really like Lilo & Stitch (and Mickey & Pluto, of course!). I would have been pretty bummed if we had made a special effort to make it to that meal. If I were OP, I'd grab a snack breakfast (Hello, Sleepy Hollow!) and spend another 1-2 hours at the park before taking a mid-day break.
