we usually stay at Fw since we like the relaxed, laid back atmosphere but couldn't get the Ap rates( not for lack of trying since I've been calling since others started getting them Thurs. pm) so now we are at PC for $55 a night but I am really nervous having heard so many bad things bout buses , noise and such at the AS resorts...help me feel positive about staying there Please!!!!

I am going to try to search for Tyler's and other CMs tidbits about Pc but right now am not sure I made the right decision ( and can't change my mind since everything is gone for my dates, Jan 6-19) I feel really sick right now , like our visit is going to be awful.

you could go to the dvc rent/trade forum here and rent someone points. depending it may be about 80$ per night (tax and all included) to stay at the OKW in a studio. these are typically for sun-thurs stays (weekends are double)

I am staying at PopCentury in Feb, and have done a lot of research. From what I have found...

The buses are great. Buses run only for this resort, they do not double-up like others do. Many reports I have read, these buses beat the Mod big time. As for noise, the PC looks very nicely spaced out for a Value. And from the reports Tyler has posted, the interior decor is not loud or over-powering as the outside is. Truely, its what you feel best with, but I am really looking forward to staying there with my DD.

You and DH can walk down memory lane with all the POP artifacts.

I too was hesitant about booking the Pop Century. We stayed at the WL last Feb and wanted to return this Feb. However, due to the non existant room only codes for the WL, I decided to change my ressies to the Pop Century for the week. Thanks to the pictures and all of the great info that Tyler has shared, I am really looking forward to it now. This will be our last year to be able to stay in a value resort (we have three girls and our baby can still sleep in a crib) so that was another reason why I opted to stay here. I don't think you will be disappointed, it looks way to cool to be a dissapointment!! As previously stated, this resort will have it's own buses and not have to share with another resort. That is a BIG plus in itself. Keep an eye out on Tyler's post as he has promised to do a FAQ thread and link the old thread to it as he finds out more info.

I can't wait to stay at PC. I'm taking my folks, so I'm extra excited about this trip. They haven't been to WDW since 1997. I think PC is going to be <i>grooovy, baby</i>!
