Are we considered a Grand Gathering?

HI, I was just wondering if we r considered a grand gatherings? We r a party of 4 adults and 5 children (2 of the children r free). We also booked on 2 seperate resservations but they r linked. If we r a Grand Gatherings do we still have to wait 90 day prior to book of meals or can we do it sooner? Thanks

I am not the be all and end all answer, but from what I was told back on 2007...the free kids (under 3) don't count towards your numbers for a grand gathering.


Just be sure--call Disney and ask. If you are a grand gathering they need to register you as such anyway (you even pick out a name for your group).

Yes, you do still have to wait for the 90 day mark to make your ressies. And the kids under 3 do not count towards the 8 to be considered a "grand gathering".

And, yes, Grand Gatherings groups must include eight paying guests -- ages 3 and above -- staying at a Walt Disney World hotel.
