My DS's are 6 and 3, and neither can swim well yet. I'd like for them to use water wings in the resort pools. Is this allowed? We won't be visiting a water park this time. We are staying at CBR and also HGVC. My DH thinks they probably aren't allowed. I can see that an innertube-type device might not be allowed, but water wings? Anyone know??

I assumed they weren't allowed, so I left them at home. But when we got to ASMo, we saw kids wearing them. Turns out not only were they allowed, but they sell them at the gift shops. I bought a pair for both of my kids, they were only $2.00 a pair. We were able to use them in Stormalong Bay when we moved to the BC too.

Last time we were there my DD was 5 and not a good swimmer. We took her along her water wings with us and had no problem. There were other kids with them as well.

They are. Our daughter has used them on two trips to 2 resorts...kids everywhere had them on.

we used them at CBR with no problem at all, but they were not allowed in Typhoo Lagoon (Although we did see one or 2 children with them).
They had free life-jackets available at Typhoon Lagoon instead.

We just returned from riverside and there was no problem using them there. We also saw people using them at Blizzard Beach. You can also get life jackets at both places for free.

We used them at Blizzard Beach, and at Coronado Springs with no problem.

My five year old could go down the slide at the resort with it, and no one said anything.

Have fun:bounce:
