Are unopened Disney Autograph Books returnable?

If I have an authentic--unopened Disney Autograph Book (the blue one with all the characters on it); is it returnable for a different item at the Disney stores at the parks or hotel stores?

I use these as gifts for people I help plan trips for and I'd like to know that they can return them for something else if they choose to do so.

Are unopened Disney Autograph Books returnable?

New, unused items are returnable.

Yes. In fact, you can buy one in the Disney Store in the airport so you're all set for rope drop at MK the next day, realize as you arrive at the park with excited kids in tow that you left the unopened book in your room, buy one inside MK, and return the first one at any MK store the next day.
