Are UGGS still popular where you live?

It is time for me to either buy a new pair of UGGS or move on to something else. My first pair lasted a good 4 years, but they are not suitable to wear to work anymore. I really like wearing them especially to work (teacher) but was wondering- is the UGG craze over where you live? Have you bought a pair recently?

Yup, still popular. I'm a teacher, too, who loves wearing them with sweater dresses and leggings. Always get compliments.

I have both the suede/shearling and the crochet ones.

I got a pair of knockoffs the other day for my birthday.

But I teach high school, and they most definitely would not be considered "professional wear" in my building.

DD attends Univ. of Delaware, & they are still popular there too....although she has commented that she wants a pair of "Tom's" shoes. I don't know yet what those are, but have told her to send me a link to view.

Toms are all the rage here, but I think Uggs will be back when the weather turns cooler.

Toms are the rage here (esepecially with the high schoolers/middle schoolers) and I still see Uggs.

I'm a teacher as well and one administrator frowns upon Uggs, and the other doesn't really care as long as it isn't sneakers.

I was going to say the exact same thing.

Here where I live, I've never seen many adults wearing them, just teenagers (EVERY teenager). They seem to be as popular now as they were the last couple of years.

I wish I understood the whole "ugly" shoe craze, lol!

Crocs, Uggs, Tom's - to me they are all ugly. I understand they are comfortable, but ................yuck.

I love my UGGs and always will, no matter if they're in "style" or if other people think they're ugly (BTW, I remember reading an article about style trends men hate the most and UGGs were at the top). I just love the warm, snuggliness of UGGs . I've had my oldest pair for 8 years! I wish I could wear them to work (I'm a paralegal).

They're the one for one guys. You buy a pair, they give a pair to a child in need. Ugly shoes, great concept, you pay for it.

not seen uggs here much, but still warm as well. The boat shoes,Sperry's are in. Looked at Tom's site, I like them actually, but I wonder how long they last, if they have any support. Anyone have some?
