Are Two Water Park Days Too Much?

We are scheduled on a Land/Sea (3 day land/4 sea) in late August. My husband wants to go to TL & BB, each for one full day, and sprinkle park visits around it.

We have never been to either Water Park. We have been to Wet n Wild, and enjoyed that very much, but never stayed a full day. We have a DS7, who is learning to swim.

We are also staying at the Beach Club, so we will have access to SAB. I'm wondering if this is just too many water activities...

Under his plan, we will spend day 1 at BB, and the evening at Epcot for EMH; day 2 at MK; day 3 at TL and the evening w/Phantasmic Dinner package at MGM; and day 4, the morning before our cruise at AK.

My son has been to the Magic Kingdom and AK before, but never to Epcot or MGM.

Am I being paranoid that we'll be waterlogged? Has anyone tried a similar itinerary?

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Definitely would be, for our family. We went to TL at opening and got good chairs and rode what we wanted--which was a good thing, because the park became gridlocked by 11:30 a.m. We got out of there, had lunch off-site, took a nap and went to MK in the evening. I couldn't imagine spending a whole day, much less 2, in that mass of humanity, but YMMV.

I personally would be too tired to go to a park if I spent all day in the sun at a water park. I don't have the stamina but your family may.

A ha! I wondered if it might get very busy. Neither DH or DS will be willing to wait in long lines...a half day sounds like a much better idea to me.

Our family has only the stamina of the youngest member -- if DS is exhausted, no one else is going to have fun, trust me. I am going to mention to DH that the parks may be totally crowded by noon, and DS probably won't be able to make it for fireworks after a full day in the sun...

Thanks for pointing out that a full day of sun in Florida heat is probably never a good idea...!

We just got back from a nine day trip and not only did we have two water park days but we also had a day and a half of just swimming in the resort pools - Beach Club and AKL! It was fine for us but we love to swim. This is what we did: we arrived late on Friday, Saturday was BB, Sunday MGM, Monday TL, Tues MK, Wed Epcot, Thurs SAB swimming, Fri AK, Sat am AK and Sat pm AKL pool. We came home on Sunday. It worked out great for us and we came home rested. Our daughter is 7 and is a good swimmer. She just loved the waterslides at both parks - both she and my husband preferred TL over BB. I preferred BB. We arrived at the water parks around 10 when they opened and stayed until 3 or 4. We left before closing only because we had dinner reservations both nights. We took advantage of not being in the parks on these days and had dinner at some of the resort resturants. I hope this information helps you. PM me if you have any other questions.

Enjoy the waterparks they are lots of fun!
