Are two Palo dinners possible?

Before a cruise I am only able to book one brunch, tea, and dinner for my stateroom. Assuming tables are available when I board, is a second reservation in Palo permitted?

This cruise will celebrate her high school graduation and 18th birthday; my wife and I would like to have a brunch and dinner together, but DW also wants a mommy-daughter dinner and I was thinking about a father-daughter brunch.

You will be put on a waiting list and if spots are available it's possible you will be able to dine 2 or even 3 times in Palo.

You will not be able to book a second seating on day 1. As above, they will take your name and cabin number and if space remains available after everyone has had a fair chance at 1 of each event, you will be welcome to have multiples. This assumes you are in a normal cabin. If you happened to book a royal suite,.....well....you paid for it and you will be taken care of.

From my experience, we have always been able to get a second dinner at Palo's. You can't book it online, you have to wait until you get to the ship, but SOO many people cancel (or just don't show up) for their reservation that we have always been able to enjoy an additional seating.

We had 2 ladies at our table on a Panama crossing that ate at Palo's at least 6 times!!
So, you can. I guess it depends on availability.

On the long cruises you have a way better chance. By the end of the Panama they usually start calling us to see if we want to come back!

This is good to know. I think we are going to try for bunch twice next year.

Agreed. You can only book one Palo dinner and one brunch online before the cruise even if you are in a Royal suite. Additional bookings are possible once onboard

You're only allowed to pre-book one reservation at Palo before the cruise. But we've eaten at Palo twice on our last 2 cruises. We booked the other reservation once we got on our board.

The longer the cruise, the better the chances of multiple availabilities. 14 night cruises are a piece of cake.

And yes, I know the royal suite can only book one in advance, but I've never heard of them being denied additional reservations from the concierge after boarding.

My DH loves Palo sooooo much he has them call our cabin when they have a cancellation. It doesn't hurt that DH is a bigger tipper, we go several times each cruise.

On the same subject. We have two linked reservations and our party totals 3 adults. If DH and I book dinner together one night and my cousin who is the other adult books a Palo dinner for one will they let her make that into a dinner for two once onboard as she and I want to go one night.

I cant imagine this being a problem since they would just be giving one person a table for two if she went alone. I would probably go talk to the Palo manager the first day.

On the Northern European cruise I think we ate there maybe five nights of the twelve. We were even able to get two on our four night on the Dream last year.

I can second that when I was on the 2008 Panama Canal the head server asked if I would like to make another reservation as I told him that it was my first time there.
