Are TS Credits tracked by person?

Hello,
Last year when I used the DDP there was no tracking of TS credits by adult or child, they were just lumped together. I understand that now they are tracking this. My question is that my DD is now 10 (Adult). She would definitely prefer to order off of the kids menu. We have two nights where we must pay OOP because we have booked 2 TS meals that require 2 credits. Are we allowed to pay OOP for a couple of her meals and then use her Adult TS credits for my husband and I? Is this tracked? Is this a no no?

The credits are tracked by room, not by person.

So, yes, you would be able to pay OOP for anyone in your party and use the saved credits to do signature dining, extra meals, whatever. That's perfectly legit, and should be no problem whatsoever.

We have done this as well BUT because DD10 was considered a Disney Adult the meal price that we were charged was more than the child's menu. They gave her an adult portion of what she wanted with an adult menu price, not the children's menu price.
