Are the tickets hard to get for the Blue Man Group? How far in advance should you buy them? We are looking to be there the last week of July next year and were thinking of seeing this show. I have 2 teen boys and we are taking the trip for my DS's graduation from High School.

Is it a good show? It looks fun. What row or section do you recommend?

Also if we are at IOA that day is it ok to just wear shorts and tank tops to the show?

Thanks.

We just went and bought tickets that week to see the show (beginning of June). Our seats were great...on the right side about 15 rows back. There are really no bad seats but if you want to be in the "splash zone" sit up front.
The show is amazing! I have 2 boys (9 and 5) and they loved it as well!
Yes, shorts and t-'s are fine...it is completely casual.

I have been 3 times with my family. Twice was front row center in the splash zone and the last time was the first row right behind the splash zone.

You could wear a tank top and shorts, but most people have on something a little better, more so on the later showings.

We bought our tickets for front row about 3-4 months out. The other time was 1 month out.

We went to see BMG last October, had front row seats and booked them a couple of months in advance.

Show was great, DS (10) and DD(8) really enjoyed it but I would suggest sitting a couple of rows back from the front row, you don't miss anything except the possibility of a mess.

Shorts & Tee were fine, too hot to wear much else, front row or splash zone get a plastic bag/cover to wear but really hot to sit in.

Show is fantastic! We've gone twice and although did not sit in "splash zone" did have great seats about 15 rows back on the left. No issue getting tickets and often they have deals.

Just returned and thought we'd share a little info on how we got scored some good tickets to Blue Man Group (BMG), same day of show.
We hadn't planned on going to see them until we arrived and our kids (7 & 10 yo) saw the posters.
We've seen the show in Vegas but didn't think they'd would be interested.
Were staying at the Royal Pacific and stopped at the ticket counter in the lobby to see what if any tickets were available, we needed 4. They initially found 4, but not together. He said give him about 30 minutes b/c unsold tickets would be released soon. Called about 20 minutes later and was holding 4 tickets together, 7th row center. Great seats! The show was a big hit and are still talking about it.
I wouldn't recommend this plan, but we lucked out big time.
BTW. My first post, long time reader.
