Dude...this whale is lost, disoriented and possibly sick...I will "lighten up" when it is safe back out in the ocean. If you have that much compassion then you wouldn't have found the title funny.

First off, I'm not a dude. Second, I truely feel for the whale. Hell, I even adopted one years ago. So don't tell me that I cant find the title humerous and still feel sorry for the whale at the same time. It is possible.

When you 'adopt' a whale, do they send you a picture of it once a year or something?

If so, how can you tell it's the same whale? They all look the same to me...

Its not like adopting a child through Feed the Children where you get a picture every year. Its a donation to a whale foundation. They sent a poster and some literature on killer whales. It was many many years ago so the details are a bit fuzzy.
