Posted this in another thread too. I wonder if they are blocking rooms so they can make it so families can be guaranteed to have their own table at dinner times due to COVID-19.

I like your thinking. Dinner in a loud dining room (or in Cabanas), sitting with people other than your usual exposure family quite close to another full table of strangers, would be the perfect space for spreading airborne pathogens.
