I am wondering about this because I would like to put a set of 3 Mickey halloween candle holders in our window so its easier to find our room. I know this sounds crazy but when we went to the F&W last year we forgot our room # and I had to call the front desk to find out lol:rotfl: We checked in, set our stuff down in our room and left. when we went backto the room at about 10:00 that night we all thought it was a different room # :confused3 we didn't have the room card holder with us only the KTTW card lol Has anyone else ever done this? We were staying at the Beach Club.

your key holder also contains a map. if you got lost at BC - definitely keep this thing with you. the room number should be there.

aoa has separate buildings. So hoping it will be not as hard for you.

Right now the LM rooms aren't open so we can only speculate that they'll be exactly like the buildings at the other values which do have window ledges where you can put stuff. The suites don't have any kinds of windows on the side of the room where the doors are located which is in a hallway.

This might be a crazy question but was it BECAUSE of the F&W that you couldn't remember your room#? j/k :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Most of the time I don't memorize the room number - just the room location. I know my room is x number of rooms from the exterior door, or lobby, or elevator, etc. But if you were to just ask me for my room number, 99% of the time I wouldn't be able to tell you.

OP, if you are concerned just make sure you take something with the room number on it with you so you don't forget. The buildings are all labeled, so if you have your room number handy, you won't lose your way.

Why not take a pic of your room num with your phone?

Brilliant answer! I will have to do this in December. I need to know my room number, we purchase lots of souvenirs, and let Disney deliver them back to the resort.

Window clings are also an option for decorating a bit as well as making your room easier to see.

Brilliant! I never would have thought of that and my phone is obsessively attached to me

I too never remember my room number, but could walk to it blindfolded :)

Take a picture of your door with the room number on it on your phone or digi camera! Then you are all set.

I believe all hotels and resorts frown on candles being used in the room, BTW. So, unless you are going to haul empty candle holders all the way down just to mark your room, I'd just do what others suggest and write down the room # somewhere, or take a pic of it.

In case you lost or misplaced your KTTW card, you wouldn't want your room number written on it.

Ummm yeah. sorry don't know what I was thinking.

Not sure which wing you'll be staying in.... BUT. I think the idea of taking a picture of your room number is the best one yet. You guys are brilliant! Also at AoA, there will be some pretty obvious landmarks in front of your wing. We knew to head to the cozy cones and go into the complex with the leaning tower of tires and Guido & Luigi -- not Mater or Sally. The landmarks make it pretty easy to remember which one you need. Once you're inside though, you're on your own. LOL. You won't see any windows, etc. It's just 3 different hallways you can choose from so the picture of your room number would come in handy. Otherwise, you'd have to run outside and then look around, etc. Could be a hassle. Good luck! You'll have a great time I'm sure!
