Are there wild hog in FL?

We've had a glimpse of a few hogs on WDW property - and you can see the hog runs on WDW on google maps.

Count me in as one who's seen a wild boar on Disney property (or just outside). I was driving home from work one night (and it was still daylight) and a huge black pig was trotting along the road back behind Property Control. I had to laugh, thinking his shift must have been over, too!

I have also seen a bobcat early in the morning, which was a great thrill. It's been about 3 years ago but I still look every time I go past that spot, just in case ... :rotfl:

There has actually been at least one case of a python eating an alligator...in the case I know about, the python exploded but still...

We live in Polk County and it is a huge problem here. I see the boars quite a bit when we travel to Disney off I-4. Maybe they need to get the pythons to take care of the boars lol

I live between Tampa and Orlando, and our neighborhood is having a problem right now with the hogs. They are tearing up yards like crazy. So far, we have been spared. I am wondering if it is because our dog marks the yard....

Yes we do have wild hogs in Florida. Especially in wooded areas and the Everglades.

We saw some wild hogs somewhere between Orlando and Cape Canaveral when we took a day trip to Kennedy Space Center on our January trip! The sighting caused quite an uproar in our car....we weren't expecting it!!

There are tens of thousands in the woods along the road between Orlando and the Cape. The Mormons own that land.

You mean these?

That was the FIRST thing I thought! :rotfl2:
