Are there weekly DVC meetings in WDW?

We're at Boardwalk and they are having a meeting today at 4:00pm. Are they weekly or is it going to be juicy stuff?

As you already know by now, it's a sales presentation, but fun. You get to hear about other ways to use your membership, and yes, the meetings are weekly. I have been to several, yet I still enjoy going.

Is the meeting at Boardwalk or are you talking about the one at SSR? We went to the one at SSR last week and it was pretty dull. Nothing juicy and lackluster presentation compared to what has been done in the past.

We were also at the one at SSR last week. I thought it was a bit boring too. I used to like the AM ones at OKW. You got in before a park day, had some coffee, danish and juice and a good chance of winning a token DVC item. Last week one family with a load of kids paraded in late, the youngest picked the cards for prizes and the family left with 3 of the 4 big prizes. My DH had won a license plate and his number was called again, he refused the plastic cup so someone else would have a chance for a token gift. This family took it all - Silver bag with blanket, white bag with photo album, blue bag with lotions, glasses, cups, and the child got mickey ears embroidered with member. They also won a few smaller gifts. My DS came hoping for cookies and punch but there is no snack served.
Now we did go for the presentation, and we loved the memories clip. It was updated and always brings a tear to our eyes. We didn't learn anything new, but the DIS usually keeps us more up to date!

I agree... I used to love the meetings at BWV... You could go and gab with a few of the CM's...

Save money on that morning coffee and pastry.. Answer a few trivia questions and leave with some nice token gifts...

You would think that they would continue those meetings even though the Sales Office has been moved so that they could still push the add-on's to the members staying at those resorts...

I was at that meeting and that family sure did make out like bandits. DH and I couldn't even win the DVC mints! I was surprised they didn't even serve any refreshments. LIke I said, I won't be going back.
