Are there usually codes or AP discount in January?

In general, over history, can you get AP or other discount during this month or am I wasting my time hoping? Any link with historical data would be appreciated. Thanks all!

January (after the first few days) is one of Disney's slowest times. They do almost always release AP, FL Res and some sort of general code/discount for January.

Mousesavers actually has a list of when discounts have been released in the past.

There are almost always January codes, however they don't usually begin until a few days after the NY. Usually Jan. 3 or 5. We have been plenty of times late January and early February and there has always been AP discounts. Of course, you never know when they may change the rules or come up with a different AP promotion. Keep in mind that MLK weekend is always limited availability.

We've been going in Jan or early Feb. for the last several years and there have always been AP rates during that time. Its a great time to go!
