Are there usually ANY discounts at Easter? (m)

We have the Disney Club and we will have an AP. We are working on planning a trip after the trip in October and are considering Easter Break... April 12 - 21 (Easter is on the 20th... my birthday is on the 18th ). Would there be any discounts for either the DC or AP?

Our other choice is end of June, which I know we can get discounts, but... I think the hours will be shorter, thereby not getting the extra time in the parks and the afternoon resort break! But, $$ talks, so if the discounts are much better/exist... well... no Mouse for me on my birthday .

Jaybird, I didn't do Easter this year but did do it the past two years. There were no discounts offered in the period immediately preceding Easter, and there were no discounts offered in the period immediately following Easter. From the looks of your dates, I think you will be out of luck. However, if you can move your arrival date up a bit, you may get the very last date that a discount might be offered (it would probably be a mid-week date). If you can lock in a discount on the first day of your vacation, it should apply to the rest of your vacation. Nice, huh? Good luck.

Easter of 2001 there were plenty of AP rates. WE had CSR for 104 including tax. This year there was a very limited AMEX discount where CSR was 121.00 inclu ding tax. Who know for next year. Hopefully pop centry, POFQ and SOG are open so their are more rooms available.

HR and PFB over at Universal usually have "great"discounts over peak. There is also the S/D which is what i am hoping for. Good luck!
