Are There Special Events at USF and IOA

I know Disney has parades and night time shows, and various other shows during the day time hours.

However, I can not seem to locate on the universal site any special events happening for our trip which will be 2 full days on 8/15-8/16.

Any suggestions?

There probably aren't any. There is a summer fireworks show at the Studios but it only runs for a limited time from what I understand. They are surrounded by residential areas and are therefore more restricted on what they can do.
