Are there smart TVs at BCV?

Happy Holidays everyone! We will be at the BCV on Christmas in a studio and would like to watch the Steelers and Chiefs football game that day on Netflix. We have a Netflix account but I wanted to know if the TVs in the BCV are smart tvs with the Netflix icon on them or not. Thank you for any and all info!

Yes, thank you. I looked through the thread for YC/BC but didn’t find an answer so thought I would post here to see if anyone knew.

I am new to posting so was not sure the best place to post and also did not know how to start a new conversation so sorry if I didn’t follow the right posting etiquette. Any tips on how to start a new thread/ question within an existing thread would be appreciated.

In general, all the DVC TVs are the same - and they're not 'smart'. They probably have the software, but have been disabled for a more basic functionality with the supplied cable box providing all services and no outside services (prime, netflix, etc) accessible.

There are some 'hacks' for plugging in a Firestick or similar device, but it requires bypassing the Disney box and plugging the stick into the TV's input directly - there have been threads on here for how to do it. You can also use your laptop/iPad/Phone/etc to stream services - again, the downside is that the TVs aren't enabled for Screen Mirroring/casting, so you'd have to do something similar with a Firestick or other device that has Casting built in. I do wish the Disney resorts would at least enable screen mirroring/casting - I can see they may not want to offer third-party Smart services as people might forget to disable their accounts/passwords when they leave - but if they at least let you share your phone/laptop screen you could run your services through that and cast them to the TV.
