Are there Shower Stalls in CP units?

May be a stupid question but in all the pics I've seen of Cypress Point (not GV) there are always tubs........but I haven't seen a shower.

Are there showers???

We stayed in a 2-bedroom a couple of years ago and had both. The shower stall is off the master bedroom. There is also a jacuzzi there, but they were very much a part of the bedroom. The toilet was not in a separate "closet" either, like alot of other condos. We didn't care for the set-up at all, maybe we just had an older unit. The other bathroom is next to the 2nd bedroom, with your average tub-shower combo. You didn't say what size unit you were interested in though.........?

I've rented a 3br/3bath next month and like I said all the pics show tubs but no showers.


did you stay in the "old" or "new" CP?

We stayed in the older section, pretty close to the Volcano pool (it was just across the parking lot). The shower stall is at the opposite end of the bathroom from the jaccuzi- it is huge (easily could fit 2! ). Our unit was a little worn, but I think by now all the units have been redone. We booked through hotelkingdom- can't beat the price!

The pictures are of Cypress Poine - not Grande Villas and were taken between March 27 and April3, 2004. Interior pictures are of a 2 bdrm non-renovated unit - 3rd floor, building 7.

Thanks for posting the pictures! Dumb question, but where is the toilet in the bathroom? There is no door into the jacuzzi/sink/shpwer area, right? Is the toilet in there too, with no door?

I've seen the sinks & big tub open to the bedroom in other places, but the toilet and shower usually have a door.

No, there is no door. The toilet is across from the vanity- no privacy at all! I think it's a little strange that they set up the bathrooms this way. We just had to remember to lock the door to the bedroom when we used that bathroom!

I don't know if we could stay there. It violates our "no open bathroom doors" rule.

It does look nice otherwise!
