Are there really $9 flights?/cheap flights anymore?

I'm just wondering if there are any cheap flights to be had anymore? I've never done the $9 Spirit flights...seem too good to be true? I imagine poor times of flights and connections/layovers? Just trying to see what we can swing as far an a future trip...all depends on the airfare for us when buying 6 tickets!!

Maybe not from your area, but sure there are. Not WDW, but in Feb we're heading down to Anaheim from Seattle on Alaska Air for $40+tax/fee per person one way. HARD to beat that. Caught a great fare sale just after Thanksgiving, with a trip planned at *just* the right time.

Even better, DH has status on Alaska, so we get free checked bags.

This past Oct. I got $3.00 flights on Spirit from SJO (Costa Rica) to FLL (Fort Lauderdale) for my parents. It was $217 r/t total for both of them. That was a GREAT day! You just have to constantly check
