Are there not fireworks at DLP each night?

I was just reading another thread and someone said that there were only fireworks in July and August, is this true????

I hope not as I really don't want to go those months as we have no kids and it would just be lunacy!

Can someone let me know if this is the case or if i've somehow misunderstood something?

It is correct DLP only have wishes during late July and August.

That's right due to the neighbour towns DLP requires special permission that is only granted for certain periods

I think there are fireworks for St Patrick's Day, if that's any help.

this is very interesting but i only go to WDW and they have fireworks every night but if i ever go to DLP i will go in august

At Halloween night there is also a firework. (31 October) And last year there were also fireworks on Saturdays in June!

Is it worth going in July or August just to have a chance to see Wishes fireworks?

i can't decide between quit time like april or may w/out Wishes, or high peak period with lot of people with Wishes...

Wishes is awesome, and along with nice weather and later opening hours it's well worth it. I never find it that crowded at the end of July when we have been on past trips, certainly nothing compared to the massive crowds on Boxing day.

Another advantage of going during the summer peak season would be to see the Fantillusion Parade.
Just depends what you'd prefer.

Do Summer Fantillusion floats differ from christmas one?

I think I read somewhere that they don't use all of the floats at christmas. I can't remeber where i read it though.

I had no idea about this! Does anyone know if Wishes will be shown July 15-16 this year? I was wondering if Bastille Day weekend is the kickoff or not - seems like I had seen that they are but now I'm not sure....

we went in febuary and im sure they were fireworks, but it was about 4 years ago .

In that Febuary you would of seen "Simba's FiROARworks" which were shown every night of the Lion King Carnival, but neither this carnival or any carnival fireworks are still running.

Now fireworks in Disneyland Park are only used during the Summer:

Bastille Day Fireworks: 14th July
Wishes Fireworks: From 15th July until 26th August

On St Patricks Day, Halloween Soiree and on New Years Eve.

Occasionally on Saturdays when the park is open until 10pm - they perform a short Tinkerbells Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks. These performances are not advertised and are not regularly scheduled, but may become a regular event at weekends later in the year - but is is not yet confirmed.

Fantillusion is running next from 14th July until 26th August 2007, and it is exactly the same in both Christmas and Summer runs.

Having said that there is less chance of the float transformations being cancelled due to weather in the summer run.
