Are there EVER Thanksgiving week specials?

Hi!

I am helping a family plan a trip Nov. 22-30 2013. I am just curious if in the past any of the discounts allow for deals during this week. I know Christmas is usually blacked out, but wasn't sure about thanksgiving.

I have had her sign up for the DVD and price trips online in hopes of spurring a pin code for her, but don't know if even that would be blacked out.

Not many; I always arrive the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I have gotten a few discounts over the past few years.

However, that Saturday has always been blacked out - I have had to do a room-only ressie the first night and then start my package on Sunday.

The free dining for the last two years has ended on the Thursday before thanksgiving. If she started the trip that day (the 21st), she'd get free dining for the trip. If she starts on the 22nd as planned, no free dining. That's only if it all remains as it has been the last two years.
