Are there ever Osborne Lights BEFORE Thanksgiving Day?

We will be in WDW 11/16-11/24 (leaving 6am Thanksgiving Day) ........any chance of Osborne lights the night BEFORE Thanksgiving??

Last year, they were up for viewing on Wednesday, the night before Thanksgiving. Dunno if that was special or not -- they'd been gone for a couple years and this was their big return.

The last couple years they had them before the year off, there was an AP preview the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'm pretty sure that after that the lights were up, but not announced, the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before Thansgiving. Anyone remember for sure? I do remember going to the preview the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and I think someone said that they went to see the lights on one of the following nights.

No AP preview last year. They may be working but not announced. Just walk on over and see if the area is lighted. You will be able to tell.

If only it were that easy! My thoughts are they MIGHT start November 23, 2005 (night before thanksgiving). If so, we will do MGM that night - but that is the only reason we would head to MGM on that night.

We were there November 14-16th last year and ALL of the Christmas stuff was up! OFLs were as well already!

Officially, no. But there is a good chance of seeing it in a preview of the lights. You'll have to check when you get down to Disney if any previews are occurring.

Anyone know if these dates are correct???? I don't see dates listed anywhere else yet. This would be good news for me IF it is accurate!

Thanks, Safetymom - this is great news! Nov 23rd on 2 different websites...we will be able to catch the first night!! Anyone remember what time they "light-up" for the night?
