Are there ever any discounts the week after Christmas?

I am thinking about surprising my DD with a trip to WDW for Christmas. My question is there ever a discount offered? I am willing to get an AP ( been thinking about it anyway since I am planning on going 2-3 times this year). I know that AAA blacks that times frame out also. Anyone have any ideas?

That is considered Holiday season. I want to say that if you check in the day before that season starts, you will get a really good rate. If you can get there that early & be there for Christmas. You would be getting the value season & if they do an AP rate, you would could get that!.. I think there have been discounts the week after Christmas, but they were few & far between..

My DD is with her dad until Christmas Eve so it limits how early I can go.. to make matters worse I got a code for 40% off thru Dec. 22nd.. so I could really be going cheap but that will not work out.

Your chance is going to be slim to none getting one. Most that have them are the ones that checked in prior to the season change.. Is there anyway even just one in your party can get down there on the 22nd.. would it be worth doing that???

So I called and checked rates for the week after Christmas. For 8 nights ( dec. 25- Jan 2) at Pop its about $1250. I then asked about coming in before season change ( which I was told was the 19th). I have " the code" so I could actually come in for 6 nights more (Dec19 - Jan2) for about $950. So... 6 nights longer and $300 dollars less.. Unfortunately it would be just me and DD. Its very frustrating but I can't think of any way to get down there earlier.

Snag it! That is a great rate for the most popular time to be at WDW! I can't believe you are not paying rack!

If you can get the 40% off room only, you should be able to book under that rate for up to 14 days. I booked on Dec 18th - Jan 1st. Got rooms at ASMo for just 49 nightly/ 55.00 taxes in! First time on site and first time spending Christmas in Disney. Good luck!
