What a great win last night - the Phillies were a great team, probably the best team they've beat in the WS since the 96 Braves. If last night was Matsui's last game he sure went out in style.

I probably will. I work right next to City Hall. Hell of a game. I have one mean headache from lack of sleep. The boats were blaring after the game. Blimp flew overhead. Helicopters hovering. Like I like it.

It is a Thrilla from Godzilla!!!!!! What a game. I am going to the parade. I work in midtown so it will be easy ot get to. It was so nice coming into the city tonight and seeing all the Yankee jackets and hats.

My eldest two are in college & don't have classes tomorrow so they will definitely be going; my youngest is in jr high and is pleading with DH & I to let her miss school to go....she's an excellent student but we're not sure if we should take her out of school I have a feeling the Yankees fans here on this thread may convince me After the game last night DH & I took the kids & my niece for a drive by New Dorp Lane & Hylan, it was totally insane!took us over 15 minutes to get through intersection everyone was blowing horns & waving their Yankee shirts out car windows, it was alot of fun & the biggest turnout I can remember there in quite awhile

That's great that you are so close to both the Stadium and City Hall to enjoy the celebrations It must have been crazy up by the Stadium last night ! I liked the banner some fans had that said
