Are there busses from Poly to Epcot?

Heading to Epcot after our 'ohana breakfast. Are there busses? Or do we have to do the monorail?

There are buses. Unless it's changed recently.

Buses run until 9:30 a.m. during the current monorail enhancement. After that, just the monorails.

If you're dead set against riding the monorail, you can take the bus to DHS, and from there either another bus to the front of Epcot or a boat to the International Gateway in World Showcase -- but either probably will take longer than the monorails.

The normal walkway from Poly to TTC is closed for construction. There is a temporary alternate path; I've heard it's less direct.

Epcot Monorails normally start running at 8 a.m. During the monorail upgrade work, they are scheduled to start at 9 a.m., but I think I've seen them carrying passengers earlier than that. Replacement bus service is available at TTC & the monorail resorts between 7:30 & 9 a.m.

An automated train control system. As with most automated transit, an operator will still be on each train to oversee its operation and handle station stops and emergencies.

The system will improve safety, allow trains to run more closely together, and reduce delays during switching operations.

I don't recall seeing an estimated completion date.
