I saw the biggest freakin fly of my life at the Fort last week. It looked like a housefly but was about 100 times bigger - I called it Frankenfly. It pooped all over the side of my truck before it flew away - looked like small dog turds stuck to my door.

They are in full force right now on the East Coast of FL. I have not seen any up to this point until I just went out at lunch and there were large swarms of them everywhere. When I stopped at the gas station and was pumping gas, they seemed to swarm all around you, they are horrible!!

It's not that I like washing my truck so much as I'd hate to have to have it painted and the grill replaced twice a year. They are really weird this year. My office is 11 miles from home, and I hit about a 1/2 mile stretch that's thick with love bugs. Then....***poof***!!! No more bugs!! Weird, I tell ya!!
