Just in case we need cash for any on shore excursions/shopping at port of call. Thanks

You can exchange currency at guest services but you have to bring cash with you. I would suggest lots of ones or tipping room service and maybe fifty per person per day max. Hope this helped. pirate:

Wow do we way over tip!!!!!:scared1:

From what I keep reading in different posts can it really be that the normal tip for room service etc is only 1 dollar??

No wonder these people are always so happy to see us. :cloud9:

Having said that we would gladly tip the same tip again to most of the Disney Crew.

But I cannot believe that the normal tip is a dollar :sad1:  :scared1:

Yup the average tip for room service is one or two dollars. If you order a lot of food I would tip more but one or two dollars will cover it. pirate:

Also one or two dollars but PER BAG. some people just give one or two dollarstotal to them but they deserve more. I would say $1 per small bag and $2 per larger bag. pirate:

Yup thats why they're always sooooo happy to serve :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

But as I said before some really do deserve all the tips and all the credit for their hard work and long long hours   :grouphug:

I guess that if I am honest, this will make us think about tipping some. But we will carry on tipping others (that deserve it) just as we have always done.

It is after all a hard job :grouphug:

No ATM on the ship.
Which route are on on? Every port I can think of that Disney goes to will have an ATM.
It will cost you a little bit to get cash from the ATM even if the symbol matches the one on your ATM card, unless by some miracle your bank actually has a branch there. And there will be another fee if you use it in a port that uses another currency ( a currency conversion fee). Not a huge fee, but a per transaction fee, so better to make one large withdrawal than multiple small withdrawals.

You will find many different ranges that people tip room service. The crew is very happy with any tip and you will see some people tip $5.00 per order or $1.00 per item or other amounts. Tip what you feel comfortable with....they are very appreciate of any amount.

You can cash a check at guess service - I think the max is $100.00
