I have rarely seen a discount code for VB except for the shipping deals previously mentioned. Have you checked for what you wanted on ebay? There are a lot of Vera Bradley bags (new) on there for decent prices. I am watching and waiting to get the black microfiber backpack for our trip to Disney in the summer. Hope you get great deal!

I have found some purses of Vera Bradley on ebags.com at GREAT prices. They sell alot of that brand. If you get on their email list they have good sales and often free shipping. The clearances are hard to resist!

The Hipster goes over your shoulder and body, keeps your hands free. I like the Bucket Tote, but it's large and doesn't close at the top (just a toggle). My favorite of all time is the original Vera Handbag which is called the handbag. It doesn't look that great but it's functional!

I am 5-9ish and fully extended it hits my butt. My Mom keeps the strap short and it is like a normal purse strap for under your arm. You won't have any problems.
