From the fireworks at MK, Epcot, MGM, etc.?

That would be so neat to rent a house and be able to see some fireworks from the house!! :goodvibes

The firework views are a bit over rated, but you can definitely see the fireworks from our house in the Formosa Gardens area, and I can bet you will be able to get a reasonable view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks if you're in a community north of the 192 on the 27.

We've seen the fireworks from the Formosa Gardens area homes and it's not that exciting. The home we're staying at in Windsor Hills says it has a fireworks view from the upstairs window. Some of the homes in the north 27 area probably can too.
Don't base your home choice on this, after seeing it once you won't even care. Fireworks from that distance and without the music that goes with it when you're at Disney just isn't worth bothering with. You'll be happier with a home that has the amenities and location you want. :)

We could see the fireworks from the lanai at the house we rented in Windsor Hills. They are distant but the kids thought it was neat that we could see them.

I agree, chose a house that meets your wish list, if you have a choice of homes that meet your requirements then by all means chose one that states its got a fireworks view but don't have a firework view as a main requirement.

It's not my top priority!

4 BR /3 BA and a private pool are.

I'd like to be "close" but how close can I get really? I'd say I'd like to be no more than 10 minutes.

Then, price is very important too. I'd like to stick in the $800 range all inclusive.

We could see the fireworks at the MK from the end of our driveway in the Orange Tree subdivision.

It was off of Hwy 27, on the MK (east) side of 27, pretty far north towards Clermont.
