Are there ANY special experiences available?

So I’m going with my sister and mom in May, Mother’s Day weekend, and I wanted to plan some sort of special experience for them.

We were supposed to go last Mother’s Day and I had booked a wine tasting event at a resort, but that was obviously cancelled.

Is there anything available that’s an extra add on? Like a food experience or tour or anything? Maybe more things will open up down the line but I just want to see if anyone knew of anything!

I think the horseback riding might be a thing at the TriCircle D ranch.

Like... Behind the seeds?

No. The private tours where a tour guide takes you on almost any attraction you want (there are a few exceptions). You skip the line. We did it in November 2019. It was awesome! Very expensive but we thought it was worth it.

So like the "Keys"? I wanted to do behind the seeds... had it scheduled before everything fell apart... my family did not though. lol

The private VIP tours are running and they’ll do whatever you want. It’s $450-650 an hour with a 7 hour minimum for up to 10 people. So I wouldn’t say it’s like the Keys to the Kingdom tour as they are not really even close to being the same price. That being said, they are awesome if you are willing to pay for it! But none of the other tours are running.

Geez... so at most that ends up being 455 bucks a person. What do you mean "do whatever you want"?
They let you bypass the line for any attraction, with the exception of Rise of the Resistance (there may be another one but that’s the only one that comes to mind). They transport you from park to park in a private van. You enter most parks through the “back” entrance. They can also book restaurants, etc. Your paying for not waiting in line. You can hit all 4 parks in one day depending on what you want to ride. We did 3 parks (skipped EP) in 7 hours and did around 13 attractions.

Did you need tickets for each park? I am going to assume yet... but ya the VIP treatment sounds pretty amazing. What causes the range though?

Yes. You need park hoppers. Price varies depending on when you go. For example, the dates around Christmas are the highest price per hour. You can call to see what the price would be for your dates.

Yes, hopper ticket will be needed. The price per hour fluctuates by time of year. Cost is by the hour and not per person.

It's pricey but for a party of 10 paying $500/hr and doing the minimum 7hrs, that's $3,500 or $350 each. People report being able to do 20 rides if you move quick, and that's including all the best rides (except RotR not included). You could also time your last park for an evening show (when they return) so your guide will part you after getting you a preferred view for fireworks. Kind of like a bonus :)

Ya I guess all things considered 350 isn't as much as it sounds for WDW.

Don’t forget that’s in addition to your ticket price... admission isn’t included. And if you’re lucky to have 9 other people to split the price with. A single family paying it all for themselves would be paying the whole $3500 plus admissions themselves. Not quite as manageable for most people.

It's more than just the rides. You get your own Disney guide. They can tell you about the parks. They are a wealth of knowledge. I am personally waiting until the parks are fully open again though as they can also get you good seats at shows and things.
