If you only want to book one room, you would either have to stay at the family suites at All Star Music/Art of Animation. Or any of deluxe resorts except the Wilderness and Animal Kingdom Lodges. I think 1 BR villas and larger also fit 5 people. Depending on how big your 9 year old is, you might be able to book Port Orleans Riverside in the Alligator Bayou section, which has a flip out bed from the TV stand, but 9 is in the upper range of children that can fit in that bed as its pretty small.

The only resort that has accommodations for 5 in a single room is Port Orleans - Riverside. They have 2 queen beds & one fold out bunk bed/trundle. The 9 yr old would probably be comfortable on the trundle but I've heard they're not suitable for anyone of adult/teen size... Aside from POR you'd have to get connecting rooms, or a Family Suite at one of the Value resorts. The rate for this room is just as much as two connecting rooms I think - although it does have a kitchenette, if that's something you're interested in. The Family Suites sleep 6 - 1 queen, 1 double & one sofa sleeper I believe. If you want to explore costs just enter your dates/party size in the Disney site & it'll bring up all available options for you (except connecting rooms). Hope this helps

As a pp said, all of the deluxe resorts (except WL and AKL) accommodate 5 in a standard room. With that said, a deluxe CL room at the WL would also work for you as those accommodate 6.

Boardwalk Inn (Deluxe) shorter daybed fine for anyone under 6'

The cheapest is Art of Animation, then POR/Cabins, and the Contemporary Standard View...
