Just wondering if I can check the boards while at WDW.

Is there anyplace you can use a public computer w/internet access?

Or would we have to bring a laptop?

Thanks for your help! :flower1:

We were just there and there were NOT any. I even asked and they said none on site. There used to be some, everywhere, but they got rid of them.

As of last December there was, in Epcot and the Deluxe resorts for sure, probably other places, I am not sure. Though a lot can happen in a year, I don't know for sure that they are still there, they sort of looked like telephones with small screens on them.

I do know for sure that you can still get internet access from Disney Quest though.

IME, the ones at Disney Quest are ALWAYS filled and nobody leaves. I've waited around for ages more than once trying to get one and never had a bit of luck.

.

Yeah, they are gone. We were there in January and they still had them, but just last month they are gone. I noticed first that the one in Morocco was gone and then at AKL, it too was gone. That is when I asked and they said there were none on site anymore.

There are 2 in the contemporary business center -- not sure what they cost though.

If you do bring a laptop, some deluxes also have highspeed access $10 a day.. bring a network card, not sure if they rent them.. they can provide network cable (cat5 ethernet) AKL doesn't have highspeed yet though..

Or try the public library in Celebration or Kinko's in Lake Buena Vista--probably ten minute drive for each location.

Belle... do you have any idea how much it costs to use the computer at Kinko's to say print boarding passes? TIA :)

You can also use computers at the business centers. Contempory, YC/BC and Corando Springs have them as does the Dophin.

I have printed boarding passes at the Dolphin. Seems like it cost about $2 for one pass so....

I can't remember. I wasn't appalled at the cost of Kinko's and it was easy to get to, esp. from Downtown Disney (bascially go out to 535 from Hotel Plaza Blvd, turn LEFT and it's down the road) here is their phone number: (407) 465-0085

Thank you guys for the info!!! Going to come in real handy very shortly :)
