We are tossing around the idea of getting season passes to Disney this year. Are there any perks at all associated with the season pass? TIA!

Are you asking about the Florida resident's Seasonal Pass or the general public Annual Pass?

For the regular season pass, free parking at all parks, discounts in stores and there is usually a passholder resort discount. And you can get dining discounts, and you can't forget the car magnet!! :lmao:

What is a regular season pass? There is a FL Resident Seasonal Pass and an Annual Pass that anyone can buy. Correct? Just making sure we're talking about the same things.

The FL Resident Seasonal Pass does NOT include free parking and has blackout dates. The Annual Pass does include free parking and there are no blackout dates. I'm pretty sure all the other benefits of dining, merchandise, and hotel discounts are either the same or very similar with the two different passes.

The main difference is blackout dates with the Seasonal Pass and no free parking.

Are you a DVC Member? If so, there is a huge discount on APs for members. Ours were $454 for AP which is about $150 less than reg price. even if we are only in Disney for 10 days in a 12 month period, we are saving a ton of money over standard park hopper tickets. The store discounts are nice as well. We use Disney transportation, so the parking savings do nothing for us.

What kind of discount do you get on resort stays? Are those discounts on resorts stays any time you visit or just periodically?

Just trying to figure out if this would save us some $$$...

I believe there is a standard discount any time of year. It's small. But then every now and then they'll offer larger discounts for AP holders for certain times of the year.

By small do you mean 10% or so? Is there a code to put in when pricing a room to see what the discount would be? Like APH or something?

Thanks!

There is a DVC promo starting 2/6 that is $245 off a PAP and discounts off of DL AP and the Premier AP (WDW/DL combined).

In general, it's about 5% more than the general public discounts. You can go through the annual pass website if you have an AP:

Thanks! Might be worth it just for the room discount depending on which resort you are staying at!

And if you have an AP then of course you have to go back at least once,... or twice... :goodvibes
