Are there any open spots for the Convention

I can see that the link is still up and the form is available for the DIS Convention. I was wondering If I am too late to sign up for this .. It appears that 300 has been reached. I was just checking to see if a possibilty of any room packages still exist. Is there still time or am I Johnny Come Lately.

I'm not sure whether any room packages are still available. Last time I heard, Linda was going to open registration back up around September 7th, but that might just be for events only packages.

For some reason, I thought I recalled reading that it would be the room packages only that would open back up. I may be mistaken though. Sorry, I'm not a lot of help. But if you miss out on the actual convention, we are having several Mini Meets that doesn't require that you be registered for the DIS CON. The resorts are having some really great rates during that time, including the ASMu for $49 per night plus tax or $54.88 per night.

You could still come on and join in one the fun. Read the list of events and you'll see where there is a lot of events that you could be included in. But you might could send an e mail directly to Linda or Mack-Key Mouse and find out if the room packages will reopen up.

Sept 7th - that is a BIG date I'm leaving to WDW that date and get back on the 15th so I can assure you that I don't think Pete will reopen event-only well I'm away.

I have a meeting with Pete today and should have a convention update posted on the boards later today.

Steve, you open yourself up to all sorts of "comments" when you say things like that. Someone could say it's that old age setting in, or you're over the hill or the mind is the first thing to go. But, I'm a nice person so I'm just going to say that it's because we have so much information to digest.
