Are there any magic kingdom ceremony pics out there?

DF and I are considering having a magic kingdom wedding ceremony and I'd like to see some pics if anybody has some or knows of somebody who does.

I only know of 1 wedding. She had a PJ here on the DIS ages ago, who knows if you can find it now. She had a night wedding and I don't think they allow that anymore.

i also didnt think you could have it anywhere except the dock now when having your ceremony on MK? So nothing like what she had .... but i'm not expert so dont take my word for it.

I thought it was alot of money just to say "its in magic kingdom" plus the fact that half the castle was blocked by tree's (thats if you did have to have it on the dock?)

That is still a beautiful location and all but if I was paying all that money for a Magic Kingdom Ceremony I would want it in front of the castle. I am sure you can talk to them. I don't understand why you can't have it in front.

I did that with Rob's name the other day!! LOL.

I know I've seen a night picture wedding in front of the castle, but I can't find it now!! Grrr.. I'm assuming it was an old picture though!

If I recall correctly, that MK wedding was held back when the price was $500,000. They've dropped the price now, but you also don't get to be in front of the castle.

That was the price he was quoted. But according to his website, they didn't pay that much. I think he negotiated a better price, but who knows how much that was, I'm sure it was still a pretty penny....

Even with, say, a 20% discount you're still talking $400k! Plus, they had everything! Not to mention multiple events that rivaled most couples weddings! If only I were rich!!

Brides magazine held a contest almost 2 (?) years ago and the wedding was held on the castle steps during park hours. it was beautiful. there used to be a thread about it on here...let me see if i can find it...

That's what I read in your PassPorter book. It's the type of place you definitely need to visit in order to assess the site. It's really hard to judge from a picture.
