Are there any Halloween events at the Boardwalk?

We will be at BWV for Halloween this year. We were at VWL last Halloween and I seem to remember hearing about some type of Halloween party at the Boardwalk. Does anybody know?

Yes, we stay there every Halloween and they do some nice things.

They set up a stage on the front yard (between the Inn and the Villas) and have some type of show. I think they also had some games on the lawn for the kids. They had a couple of magicians strolling around the Boardwalk. Lots of folks and kids in costumes.

Oh Wow! I had no idea BWV did that and we are staying there this year over Halloween, how cool!!

yes! the BWV has a Halloween Party on 10/31 at the Boardwalk Village Green right outside the lobby.
we had a room facing the Village Green on the night before Halloween, and the DJ was there at 2am setting up and testing his lights (cool flashing lighting effects).
it wasn't too fun though when i got woken up by the brightest lights flashing into our room!!
i thought it was a searchlight or something, and woke up quite alarmed!

anyway, they have trick or treating for the kids, and i think some kind of costume contest and maybe pumpkin carving?
i can't remember for sure.
