Are there any fun breakfasts that you could do before EE?

I love saving money on a character meal by doing it at breakfast for our family of 5! I also want to do EE. It seems that all of the reservations are not early enough before EE to eat and get to the park in time. Am I right? And then the parks will be open at 8 a.m. on most of the days we are visiting. So, again, I'm thinking that we will not be able to do any character breakfasts during the trip. Right?

I guess we will do lunches to try to save?

Disappointing as I love Mickey waffles. Are there any counter services where you can get a Mickey waffle??

I believe the earliest seatings for Goofy's, Storytellers and Lilo & Stitch at the PPH is at 7 am.

I had Mickey waffles at Cafe Orleans last weekend. They are the same as the ones at Storytellers. You should make PS if you want to eat there, as they were turning away walk-ups when we were checking in.
Another option is to have a quick snack in your room, hit the park hard in the morning and take a break around 10 or 10:30 for a late character breakfast.

We've eaten Storyteller's twice before EE and it's great to nearly have the entire restaurant to yourself! You'll be at the front gate before 8:00 with no problem.

Oh that's great, SLP! Thanks for letting me know. We will have plenty of time then, since the park doesn't open for EE until 9 a.m. We can get there and line up! I have never made it to a park opening. We always seem to hit the buses at the wrong time in WDW. We get there way early, but no bus comes for 30 minutes! So this will be great.

I recently tried the breakfast at Carnation Cafe on Main Street (outside Blue Ribbon Bakery). Their breakfast is good and affordable. I tried the Croissant Bendedit. Yummy! Here's a link to their menu: http://www.allearsnet.com/dlr/din/menu/men_carb.htm

We like breakfast any time of the day and love to do the Character breakfast as a brunch - we reserve the latest time for breakfast but it is our 2nd meal of the day.

Mickey waffles, here I come!

Just an FYI, the Mickey waffles are not on the buffet, but you can order them from your server, even if you choose the buffet. The same goes for pancakes.

What is EE?

I asked this in another thread too. This board and the WDW board use so many abbreviations. I don't know what most of them are. Confusing stuff for me.

EE = Early Entry.

Check out HydroGuy's "DLR Abbreviations List." It's a "sticky" that's located at the top of this forum -- it's the eighth one down.
