Like AAA? Trying to determine if it would be worth me getting the ap,I'll probably go twice in a year, but nothing is set in stone, only the first trip. Is it worth paying $50 for the DDE? Any input would be good!
Sorry if I put this in the wrong spot, please move if I did:)

annual passes get discounts on rooms with the best rate program along with discounts off some recreation like behind the scene tours & sports like golf, spa treatments & some merchandise at dtd.

as for the dde card i think it is worth it, it paid for itself & then some on one trip for us, with 20% off most dining.

There are no discounts on APs unless you are renewing them. I think if you go something like ten days in a year, it would be a better deal than the 10 day passes. If your second trip is not set in stone, you may want to just buy the 10 day passes with no expiration, so that if you don't take your second trip, you can always use it the next time you go back. Or maybe consider buying just one AP and the rest of your family regular passes, so that you can get the various discounts. You just have to figure out how much you would really save with the discounts. My family did not really take advantage of the discounts except for the DDE and the discount at the World of Disney, so when we were considering APs, we just determined how many days we would spend at the parks.

As for the DDE, it is definitely worth it. We were able to save a lot of money just in one trip (considering there were 13 of us).

There is a DVC discount on APs. And we found the DDE to be well worth it. It paid for itself in about 3 sitdown meals for the 3 of us. Just FYI, the DDE is generally only good at TS places. There are a few exceptions, mainly resorts where there are no TS restuarants.

No discounts other than DVC on the actual passes, but an AP can save you a bundle on your hotel room...if you book through the brp (and get a good deal, of course) and stay at a more expensive hotel. In the past, we've been able to save around $100/night on our AKL rooms. Of course, this savings may not be as large in the future. Still, the savings can be significant if you are planning on staying at a Deluxe hotel.

We got back the money spent on our DDE card within 3 days. Tremendous savings for us!! Remember that it's good on alcoholic beverages, too.

If you're planning on going on any tours (and I encourage you to do so!), you get a small savings on these. AP's get a huge discount on mini-golf, if that's your thing.
