Are there any credit card fees added when purchasing from expedia.ca if you aren't

I'm not Canadian. However, expedia.ca seems to be cheaper on some things and I was wondering what happens if I booked through them? Does my credit card get charged an extra fee for purchasing something that is in Canadian dollars?

It all depends on your credit card. Some charge fees for transactions in foreign currencies and some don't. Your actual charges are also going to be dependent upon what exchange rate that your card will use for the transaction. Sometimes they are good rates sometimes they aren't.

Also, you want to make sure that you can actually book through the foregin site. Some sites will restrict their prices to residents only.

I'm not sure on the foreign bit. I'm in Canada and have booked thru expedia.com many times.

Some CDN credit cards charge 2.5% on US $$ purchases, on top of rate exchange. You would have to check your CC to see what they charge.
