A few of our friends and family recently cruised on Princess and some other cruise liner other than Disney and said that they bought a alcohol/cocktail package where for a set price for example $300 they could have unlimited amount of cocktails on board and there was no restriction as to what type of cocktail (wine, beer, mixed drinks etc). Last time we were on the FAntasy last year we bought the Skyline drink package where for a set price we could have a few martinis in that bar. But the issue was that we had to have the drinks at the Skyline and had to choose from a specific list of their drinks. We are looking for something a little less restrictive.

They sell plenty of liquor on the ships, and want to sell more which is why liquor is no longer allowed to be carried on. I think that if DCL believes it can improve its bottom line with drink packages, then we will see drink packages introduced.
