Are there any chain resteraunts you don't like?

forgot to add Waffle House - ate there once and it was so gross

I cant belive how many people hate Olive Garden, its one of my favorite places. Same with Cracker Barrel (though I've never been for dinner)

I love Cracker Barrel! Amazing pancakes with strawbs and whip cream and stuff...
I always have it, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I always get that.

I don't like IHOP.

I can't stand any fast food, it literally makes me sick, so McD's, BK, Wendy's, etc; are all out of the question for me.

Carraba's. Lame excuse for Italian. Olive Garden is OK. They're in no way authentic, but they're better than Carraba's.

TGIFriday's. I've never had a good meal there.

that's about it for now, though.

Don't really care for Olive Garden, either. I only like their breadsticks.

Friendly's...ugh the Friendly's-es in RI SUCK SUCK SUCK! We have to go to the ones in MA!

I've always wanted to try Cracker Barrel. The only one I've seen though is in Norristown, PA by Philly.

Golden Corral is another one I don't like. GREWSSSSSSSSS!

I really hate Chick A Fil A. Yeah, I know that's not spelled right, but I don't care. We don't have them here, but I can't stand eating at them in the states.. and my family loves it.
-dryheaves-

I don't like Chili's either. I went there once and just didn't like it.

When I was in 7th and 8th grade, we went on all sorts of school trips. Washington DC, New York, North Carolina, etc. But my teacher took us to all of these AWFUL chain restaurants. Allow me to list a few...

Cracker Barrel --I HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH--we ate here ALL THE TIME with my class on school trips because our teacher loved it (like all the others on this list).
Perkins-- Ditto.
McDonald's, Burger King, etc.--I'm a vegetarian, not much I can eat.
Big Boy - Possibly the worst restaurant known to mankind.
Huddle House- only exists in the south. we were stranded in a huddle house parking lot for SIX HOURS. seriously, worst six hours ever.

there are probably more...

:scared1:

We have Frisch's Big Boy and I love it! They have good vegetable soup and AWESOME potato soup. Their strawberry piebabys are so good. I also love their pumpkin pie and hot fudge cakes!:love::love:

Cracker Barrel doesnt seem to have anything that is not meat on their menu, atleast nothing thats not breakfast :confused3
Atleast the one near me doesnt...

Coming from an Italian family, I think Olive Garden's food tastes like cardboard.

The only chain restaurant I really like is Applebee's.

*twitch*
I had nightmares about that freaky mascot for like a month after going there.
For reals.
Scary stuff.

We don't have the majority of the chain restaurants in Canada that you guys have in the U.S
I was in the U.S today for some shopping and we ate at the Cheesecake Factory--I really liked it!!!!! The food was so yummy!
My family likes the Olive Garden, but that's probably because we eat there less than once a year--and their cesar salad is really yum.
We always go to that place Ponderosa if we stay in Orlando when we go to Fla, cuz it's cheap and my fam. loves bfast buffets. haha

I HAAATE Appleby's....NEVER had a good meal there. It's always crap. :scared:
I also hate Montana's....ick I hate homestyle food like that.
East SIde Mario's--I HATE all of their food BUT I go there a lot because I am OBSESSED with their garlic bread & cesar salads. And it's all you can eat with pasta meals so I just go with someone whose getting pasta and eat that lol.
Outback is like that too--I just LOOOOOOVE the bread. (and the desserts!)

My Fave chain is probably Swiss Chalet. Not a ton of people like it but mmm I loooves me some quarter chicken dinner haha (I also think Swiss Chalet is only in Canada, so I guess most of you have never had it)

I LOVE the Cheesecake Factory
I have one about 5 minutes away from my house, but we never eat there. It's always packed with people. Whenever we do go, it's such a treat. I guess that's what makes it so good - the fact that we don't eat there often.

Yes, I'll give East Side Mario's props for their bread.
Call me crazy, I've never eaten at Swiss Chalet.

olive garden->far too expensive for mediocre food.

my local bk->really gross lately.

mcdonalds-> matt and i end up having to eat here a lot, when we're out late and nothing else is open. bleh.

kfc-> far too expensive for mediocre food.

captain d's-> the only thing i'll eat is sweet tea and cheese cake.

taco bell-> yuck yuck yuck yuck.

applebee's-> too expensive for crappy food.

I love Cheesecake Factory too. Their portions are huge! Soo good.

The Ponderosa near us closed. I'm glad there are still some out there though because I really liked it!
