I just figured out that we'd be there for one of the dates in September. I didn't know that they celebrated in then as well. I'm thinking of going, but I want to check out times for parades and such before deciding. I've had my touring plan and ADRs laid out for a while and I need to see how it would fit in with things.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is held on selected nights in October each year. It is offered from 7:00 pm to midnight, after the regular closing of Magic Kingdom, and requires separate admission. (You don't have to have paid admission on the same day to the Magic Kingdom in order to attend the special after-hours event.)

as for the times of the parades and fireworks, not sure, if I can dig out my guide from last year I'll post that as well.

Last year the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade was at 8:00 and 10:00. HalloWishes (fireworks) were at 9:15. There were also two dance parties, Stitch's Cosmic Dance Part in Tomorrowland and Get Up And Boo-gie Dance Party in Fantasyland. Cinderellabration ran at 7:25 and 8:40. Obviously Cinderellabration won't be there again this year, but they'll probably have something to replace it.

They do not officially release the party schedule of events. The first we hear of it is when someone picks up a party map at the first party and posts back here.

The parade times and especially the fireworks times don't change much from year to year.

A couple more questions. We are a party of four adults, no children. Is it worth it for us to go? I'm really interested to see the parade and the fireworks. Also, do the rides remain open as well?

MNSSHP is fun for both kids and adults. The parades are very cool and you won't see them unless you go to the party and the fireworks seem like they are comming from all over the park..
Seeing the MK all decked out for halloween and the characters also wearing their halloween costumes. Sooo much fun!
Adults can trick or treat also and you will get plenty of candy.

Most of the rides are open and the lines are usually very short, my son likes to brag that he rode space mountian 11 times in a row while at the party...

If you have the chance to go then don't miss it...

Bev

With the Riverboat scheduled to be back in action this year, I am hoping that they do the story telling rides as they did in the past. It sounded like fun! Maggie
