Are their any cabana discounts? (lowe's card perhaps?)

I thought I read a while back that you got a discount on cabanas at HRH with your lowe's card? is this correct? are there any cabana discounts at all?

I recently booked a cabana at HRH for 2 days in August. I was told there are no discounts unless you are staying club level. I did manage to lock in the lower rate as most of the HRH cabana's are being renovated and will soon be $100 a day! Call the hotel and ask for the health club. Things do tend to change sometimes so they will be your most reliable form of information.

I recently booked a cabana at the RPR. I asked if there was a discount for Loew's First members and was told that the only discount available was for club level.

We just stayed at the HRH 5/22-5/27, and we booked Cabana #10 for Sunday 5/25. They charged 75.00 for a full day. So far they have only redecorated #8, and raised the rate to 100.00.

Everyone is correct. The only discount offered for Cabanas are offered to those staying on the Club Floor - half price - for full day.

We are leaving in 3 weeks and I called HRH to confirm my cabana rental for the 10 days. They did mix up my ressie and only have me in a cabana for 7 days; to make up for their mistake, they are putting us in the "upgraded" cabana. Because we have been guests of HRH so many times and that we rent a cabana for our entire stay, they remembered my family. I inquired about the cabana upgrades. Initially, as even as late as a few months ago, each cabana was going to be refurbished with new material for the outside and theming on the inside to include a dvd player - that just made my day, I was thrilled! Well as of last night, I am being put into the upgraded cabana and the only upgrades made were to theme it with "yellow submarine" pics and restocking of refreshments - that is it! Nothing else. I was surprised and spoke with the person in depth - they reconsidered putting the dvd players in there. I told him that I don't think placing some pictures and restocking the fridge is going to be a selling point - enough to warrant a $25 upgrade for a cabana ($100). Especially for those staying on the Club Floor - they can take as many beverages they would like from the lounge area and put them in the fridge all day long. He agreed. Disappointed to hear this.
