Are the toilets at POR really LOUD?

My friend just got home from a 6 nighter at POR. They said all they heard was toilets flushing at all hours of the night from other rooms? (they stayed in Oak Manor.) Are the toilets really that loud?

Unfortunately, the resorts of that vintage suffer from this.

They are loud but I found that if we kept our bathroom door closed it helped reduce the noise. It really wasn't that bad.

I have to laugh when I see the turbo toilet threads. We were having our house built just after PO opened, and we liked how efficient the turbo toilets were. So we asked around and found out who the manufacturer was and we have them in our house. I'm so used to them that I don't notice it at all. The ones I notice are the ones that seem to wheeze and whistle forever at the end of the flush cycle.

Most Disney resorts have the turbo toilets. I stayed at OKW buildiing 63 back in 03. I didn't have the problem with other peoples toilet because we were in a 2 bedroom. But they are loud there too.
