Are the pools open?

we arrive next weekend and it’s supposed to be in the 80s. Will the pool at Disneyland Hotel be open/heated?
We've been many times in Jan/Feb and the pools have always been open.
The grandkids (DGD13, DGS15) use the pool and I'm in the hot tub keeping an eye on them.
The slide at the DLH has had limited hours though.

Pools are always heated to the low 80s.

While WDW does close pools nowadays when it goes into the mid40s or lower, I’m not sure DL does.

And I’m not sure why a pool in SoCal would close when it’s in the 80s.

They will definitely be open. They only close during bad rainstorms with lightning or thunder.

Or for planned refurbs. I don't recall reading about any recently, but it's probably good to check the hotel website or call the hotel directly to check. If a hotel is going to put the pool in refurb, then the winter months are the logical time to pick.

This was my thought a possible January refurb. I checked online and nothing is posted so we will pack our suits and keep our fingers crossed.

We stayed at Disneyland Hotel from January 9-11 and they started draining one of the pools--the other with the slides was open though. We didn't get to use them though because of the rain, but they were open.

PPH pool was open during our stay 1st-7th so assume it will be the same for the other hotels.
