We are leaving next week and I was wondering if the parks are thining out or if they are still crowded?

Thanks so much!

We were there Jan 5-13. We were absolutely thrilled with the low crowds! The crowds were so low during the week that on Wed the 11th (while my parents had our kids) DH and I went to MK at about 2:30pm. We walked onto Jungle Cruise, literally walked right into the stretching room at HM, had a five minute wait for Space Mountain and even tried Stitch because the wait was less than 5 minutes. We walked through Fantasyland and the posted waits for Pooh and Peter Pan were 10 minutes (after the parade) and from looking at them, I doubt they were that long!

I can't remember waiting longer than 10 minutes for anything the entire trip, but we did have to use FastPass on Big Thunder Mtn and Soarin' during the weekend.

The crowds were definitely picking up (more people in Pop food court, more people at MK) on Friday the 13th for Martin Luther King weekend, but my dad still took my son on Big Thunder Mtn 5 times in a row with minimal waits.

How funny, we were there the 5th thru the 13th too! We stayed at BWV and the hotel did not seem as busy as the last time we stayed there in Jan 04. I agree that the parks were not bad during the week, picked up close to the weekend, probably because of the MLK holiday.

However, we did run into a couple of busy EMH nights, the first one was the 6th @ Epcot-40 min wait for Soarin, the other was the 9th (I think) @ MGM, long wait for the Great Movie Ride after Fantasmic let out, then fine after that.

Have fun!

We just got back- we were at the CBR from the 12-17th, Crowds were fine
About 11 on Monday Thunder Mountain posted a 30 min wait but it was 10 at most. We never really waited for anything- MGM was pretty crowded both afternoons we were there- no fast passes available at about 4:30 and about 30 min waits for TOT and R-n-R, Fantasmic was full that night. We did all we wanted to and had a blast, I think it will only be better for you. Have Fun!

i hope the crowds are that way next week jan 26..hubby and i went last feb and it was great...we are taking the kids this time...

I'm lovin' the crowd reports. We are going 2/2-2/12 - starying at CBR. Getting very excited. We (me and DH) haven't been to WDW since 1996 and now we are taking DD (1st trip - she'll be celebrating her 5th Birthday on 2/7).
