Are the living statues back?!?! Unless I misread the post, someone mentioned seeing them in late Aug/early Sept this year. I am thinking someone would have posted if they saw the wonderul statue people, but I am hoping this is correct.

So, has anyone seen them lately?

Thanks!!!!

I sure hope so, but I think you may have read that some had seen the Kristos, also from Epcot, in Sept, and whom also are now gone.

I hope that they are there, but haven't heard anything about them recently.

As far as I know, no, they have not agreed to return to WDW. They have appeared elsewhere, including major auto races, the World Cup, and corporate events.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg had living statues during Halloscream. I don't know if it was the same company or not. They were standing away from the crowds on pedestals in a garden and would change poses from time to time. Not interactive with the crowds like the Epcot show used to be.

I have not seen the living statues in Epcot or some time now.
Months ago I read here on the Dis they went to Busch Gardens. But I don't know that for a fact, or even if they are still there.

I think it's been going down hill for some time for Epcot entertainment. Even with the Voices of Liberty in the US pavillon, it's not the same. They had better singers at one time.

It seems they are getting away from group entertainers especially. Why pay 4 or more people when they can have a solo entertainer, etc.?

I really like the entertainment at the parks and it brought me back every year. I don't go as often now; I've been choosing other vacations. I still go to Disney World just not as much anymore and one of the main reasons is the lack of live entertainment.

We just got back and didn't see them.

The entertainment is the biggest draw for DH & I as well. It is disappointing (for example) to see the stage at Canada shuttered for two whole days each week while Off Kilter have their days off--why not bring in more entertainment on those days??

We loved the Living Statues--it was hilarious to watch unsuspecting visitors realize the statues were human. :teeth: We have been to Epcot twice since September and they are definitely not back.

My experience is that none of the entertainment they've ever had at Canada on Off Kilter's days off was any good. Off Kilter is the headliner at Canada, and that's good enough for me.

Thanks everyone. I had a feeling that was the case and didn't seem them listed on Steve Soares Entertainment pages, but had to check just in case. Couldn't miss the possibility to see one of my favorite acts.

I noticed that post too and got excited! I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed it. ;)
