Are the dreams still be given out as frequently as before?

We were at WDW in May/June, 2007 and never received any kind of dream. We are headed back in less than 3 weeks and I'm wondering if the dreams are still being given out as frequently as they were during the beginning of the promotion.

Sounds like it varies. The two days we went, we never saw the dream team or any ears, fast passes, or lanyards. But then others have mentioned getting multiple dreams granted! We didn't get lucky this trip. Just gotta be in the right place at the right time.....wish we could figure out the right place and time!

Yes, they're still being given out just as frequently. But very few people actually win dream prizes. Many people have gone to the parks multiple times over the last year and a half and haven't won a thing. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.

The advice that has been posted on these boards in the past is that you shouldn't go to WDW expecting to win something. You'll most likely wind up being disappointed. Just go and have a great time. And if you happen to win a prize while you're there, it just makes your visit more magical.

luck of the draw

Oh I'm not going anticipating winning a dream. I know it's just luck of the draw. I was just wondering whether or not they were still handing them out as frequently.

During our 10 day/9 night stay in June, 2007, we saw oodles and oodles of people with dream lanyard, dream fastpasses, etc. Never got a darn thing!

Maybe it has something to do with crowd density, i.e. when the parks are less full it looks like they give out more because there are less people and therefore you see more with FPs, hats, etc. On my last few visits (June and July), I've seen FPs (and won 'em myself yesterday) but virtually no hats or lanyards. I wonder if they give out the FPs more in the summer because they are the most useful gift for that time of the year!
